Jedi Fallen Order (unstable=13)

A practical guide to the Jedi Fallen Order effect on Crystal Focus X, including base-generated sine-wave fire, upward diffusion, generation-zone size, and audio-reactive flow.

What you will learn
  • How the effect builds energy from the base of the blade
  • How amplitude, noise, and pulse speed work together
  • How the tiny generation zone shapes the whole look
  • How to tune recipes you can paste into your blade profile

Series: Customizing Unstable Effects on Crystal Focus X · Guide 13 of 18

Introduction

Jedi Fallen Order produces a unidirectional flow of energy that rises from the base of the blade toward the tip. A sine-wave generator creates structured rhythmic heat at the emitter, and that energy then drifts upward through diffusion.

Compared to the Sauron effects, this one is simpler and more focused: no dark eye, no mirrored fire, just a clean upward flow from a narrow base zone.

Parameter Reference

ParameterRole in Jedi Fallen Order
unstableSet to 13 to select the effect
lcoolNoise amount added on top of the sine pattern at the base
hcoolSine amplitude
sparkSine-wave speed
sparkdGeneration-zone size at the base
mapbBrightness mapping
mapcColor mapping
fxmapMapping mode: 0 none, 1 audio

How It Works

  1. Drift upward using a weighted average, pushing heat toward the tip.
  2. Sine generation at the base inside a compact emitter zone controlled by sparkd.
  3. Noise from lcool added on top.
  4. Color rendering through your brightness and color mapping choices.

Audio Mapping

With fxmap=1, louder sound reduces the sine amplitude to about 60% and boosts the sine speed to about 120%, which gives a more reactive emitter-fed flow.

No Lockup / Clash / Angular Interaction

Jedi Fallen Order does not react to lockup, clash, tilt, or twist. Its visual identity comes from the focused upward flow from the emitter.

Tuning Tips

  1. The generation zone is intentionally small. That is a big part of the emitter-fed look.
  2. Diffusion is everything. Higher amplitude pushes the energy farther up the blade.
  3. Keep lcool moderate if you want the structured video-game style.
